The Jury

Christelle Younes

Born and raised in Lebanon, Christelle Younes is a producer and actress who graduated from USJ - IESAV with a bachelor degree in cinematography. She has since 2009 produced several TVCs, shorts, feature films and series in the MENA region. Her first short film as a director "Samir, Sheikh el Chabeb" won best short film at the Beirut international film festival in 2015. Christelle is now the co-founder and producer at Bee On Set productions.

Elie Fahed

Elie Fahed is a Lebanese filmmaker and director. He directed many short films, "Starring Julia" in 2012 and "Things I Love" in 2015. In 2017, his short "Life in 2 minutes" was chosen as one of the best 10 short films released online in 2017. In 2018 "How Does It Feel To Miss Someone" was selected in VideoInsight Foundation. Today Elie directs advertisement and fashion films for major brands in Lebanon and the MENA region, alongside music videos for independent artists.

Pierre Abou Jaoude

Pierre has been directing documentaries for more than twenty years. In 2013, he directed French film star Michel Galabru in the award winning short film "C'est le ciel qui vous envoie !". He started developing several screenplays amongst which "La Congolaise" which was shortlisted for the "Plenière" of the commission at the CNC for the "Aide à l'écriture", "Une nuit en 1987", a political thriller, and "Ebba" which was recently selected for the co-production forum organised by the FLC and the CNC.
