Synopsis

The film revolves around the Syrian writer and thinker, Cheikh Abderrahmane Al Kawakibi (1858-1902) who led an ongoing struggle against the thoughts and ideologies inherited from and influenced by five centuries of Ottoman occupation of Syria, right till his dying day.
