Synopsis

After years in Moscow, Tbug Khumro returns to his Tajik village to tend to his dying mother Halima. Their reunion is not what he expected at all. His homecoming reception ends up being full of surprises. A crooked mayor soon threatens him to pay back his long overdue debts. The townspeople demand he recognizes his 10-year-old abandoned son. His angry neighbors are closing in on him faster than the pretty nurse of his mother...
