Synopsis

The story takes place in Bizerte, a little provincial town in Tunisia. Khorna is an aboriginal young man who stands out by the color of his red hair and his brittle skin. He is under the protection and guidance of old Boukhaled, who treats him like a son, trying to pass on his great principles of life and teach him his profession of news bearer (such as weddings, births and deaths) and prayer man for the dead. When his old master dies, Khorna must replace him. He takes advantage of his power to reorganize everything, but the anger grows around him...
