Synopsis
Omrane, in his forties, ex-house servant, feels so liberated when he is given the task of accompanying maids from his home village to the families newly arrived in the false rich neighborhoods of the capital. The pledges to their mothers that he will take care of them. Rebeh, his most rebel recruit, having had enough of the hard chores and gradually taken over by freedom, runs away. But Omrane, a very conscientious man, starts looking for her through town, accompanied by Fedhal, 3 years old, newly recruited and waiting to be placed in a home. When Omrane finds Rebeh, he discovers that she is pregnant, and everything in his life will change.
