Synopsis

Love, exile, politics...that is what Pierre Chevalier asked of me. Seduced by the transgressions that such a complete program allows I responded to his request, on top of the fact that in this region of the world these words hold within them violence, refusal, death. It was irresistible. I wanted my characters to be afraid. I wanted this film to tell history, not that of ideas but of men, their gaps, their dispersions, their tears, their distances, without courage, with only the means to be on the verge. I wanted that the relation between God, sex and fear obey the laws of desire, without cultural reference, without identity...
