Maestro Serguei Paradjanov

Synopsis

In 1990, the Armenian filmmaker Sergeï Paradjanov is dying. With the help of some close friends, he goes by train from his home in Tbilisi all the way to Yerevan, Armenia's capital, to have an ultimate look on the museum built in his name. This visit will allow the artist to feel closer to the Armenian world, and to the authenticity of its cultural heritage. In parallel to this journey, we assist to a retrospective of his films highlighting his own artistic qualities and skills.
