The film follows Sidi, a 13-year-old Tuareg, whose mother and sister emigrate from Niger to Italy, leaving behind his younger brother, Alkassoum. While tending goats in their village, Sidi imagines his family has become white. He experiences nostalgia for his village and ultimately, both brothers come to understand their destinies are caught between two worlds.

The film follows Sidi, a 13-year-old Tuareg, who, along with his mother and sister, emigrates from Niger to Italy to join their father. They leave behind Sidi's younger brother, Alkassoum.
