Samia

Synopsis

Living near Marseille, Samia is the sixth of an immigrant Algerian family, which has a strict approach to the education of girls. She lives her teenage years at the same time as the family rejects her eldest sister, Amel, when her brothers discover that she is seeing a man from a different culture. Samia is also bound to transgress barriers. Her rebellious energy is harnessed to seize the few opportunities which will allow her to decide how she will live her life.
