Synopsis

Maria comes back to Beirut to attend the wedding of Jeannette, her childhood friend. The Lebanese and Parisian lady sees the lifestyle of these young women, considered as the most modern and beautiful women in the Arab world. During the wedding of one of her friends, she faces her fears: men, sexuality, and feeling of illegitimacy when she approaches happiness. She asks herself questions while walking in the roads of her childhood days, a Lebanese capital that has become the prey of a frantic pace of construction, where get close, mingle and sometimes co-live different communities.
