The film is set on April 13, 1975, the first official day of the Lebanese Civil War. It follows two teenagers, Tarek and Omar, who witness a massacre of a Palestinian bus and try to navigate their youth amidst the unfolding tragedy. Together with a girl named Maya, they experience the first year of war while dealing with new sexual awakenings and the impact of violence around them.
